    I think that Russia is facing a number of problems with the Islamic parts of this country.

    It might end up fighting alongside the US as its own problem will get to great

    IMO, the only reasons ww3 didn't start over this was because 1. Georgia and the country it attacked weren't very powerful and significant countries unlike Israel and Iran, which leads to the 2nd reason that Georgia couldn't sustain a war long enough to spark a world confrontation. 3rd reason is that the Western powers knew this and they're afraid of Russia.
