I remember several years ago having predicted that Syria would be involved in some fashion in the ultimate WWIII. I knew that their ongoing feuds with Israel and their potential nuclear capacity would escalate to the point at which we may now be witnessing.
I didn't think it would happen this soon, but this doesn't surprise me. If I was still a lad (lol!), I would enlist in anticipation of US intervention.
